You'll make a mosaic Harlem Renaissance style. Afterwards, offer a written response. Write a short essay (less than one page) addressing the following:

1. What topic did you choose to do and why did you choose that topic?
2. Why did you choose the colors that you chose?
3. Is there any special meaning in your art? For instance, if you made a rose with barbed wire wrapped around it, what does that represent, if anything?
4. What did you like or dislike about this project? Why?
5. What were any challenges that you faced and how did you overcome them?
6. The Harlem Renaissance pushed the limits of art. Do you think your project "pushed the limits" or was it pretty much "in bounds" with what's normal?
7. Do you have any other thoughts on this project that you'd like to add?
