Reflection writing guide for students
When writing a reflection, address each of the following in narrative form (like a story).
- what did you do?
- how did you go about doing it?
- what were the challenges you faced while doing it?
- how did you overcome the challenges?
- what did you learn by doing it?
- what did you learn about yourself by doing it?
- why did you enjoy doing it or why did you dislike doing it?
- what would you do differently if you had to do it again?
- which of the "Manatee strategic objectives*" connects to what you did?
- why did you make this connection?
- how did you engage others?
