FDR started the "New Deal," a plan to that tried to get the U.S. out of the Great Depression. During his first 100 days as president, he got lots of programs passed.
Your task:
- On a piece of paper, make 3 column like below.
- Column 1 -- name the major programs of the New Deal.
- Column 2 -- state the problem it tried to address.
- Column 3 -- state how it tried to fix the problem.
Use the textbook beginning on page 683 and the chart a couple of pages later.
