America loves cars and America loves to move around. Interstate Highway system really added to both loves and had a huge impact on American society.

1. state the purposes of the interstate
2. write down 4 changes the interstate system caused 
2. Draw a BIG 4-leaf clover on your paper (see example pic below, maybe you can draw a better one!). This symbolizes an interstate interchange. Go to http://www.fhwa.dot.gov/interstate/history.htm and then:

1. click  "June 29, 1956..." then choose 4 things going on that day and jot them down inside one clover leaf
2. on the left side, click "The Quotable Interstate" then pick 1 quote and copy it down inside a clover leaf
3. click "Then and Now", pick 4 things to compare and write them inside a clover leaf
4. click "Road Movies" then pick 2 movies and copy the description inside a clover leaf
