This is going to be awesome--a student-made animated history of the U.S.!
- Get a time period assigned to you.
- You'll need the Stykz program from Coach Crump AND a Stykz folder.
- Get these from his flash drive, or maybe from...
- The folder from "Shared Folders"--->"Crump"--->"Assignments" (drag it to your desktop)
- Save your file with the number, time period name, and your name. For example, if I made the first one, it should be saved as: "01 exploration crump"
- Read the "Stykz Tricks" at the bottom of this page.

"Stykz Tricks"
- Set up your background first. Click the background then choose a color for the ground (or sea).
- Draw a shape (likely a rectangle) to be the sky.
- You can use the "Library" to drag stuff in, like trees or a ship.
- You can move stuff to the front back. For instance, if your tree is on top of your person, click the yellow dot on either the tree or person, then click "Front" or "Back" (or go to "Arrange" up top).
- To draw something, use the "Line" tool. Draw lines and connect the dots.
- To color in something, use the "Polyfill" tool. Connect the dots to make a complete shape. It will fill in with a color (blue). To change the color, click the yellow dot, choose your color, then choose "Segments and Polyfills". Bingo.
- To change the color of something -- click yellow dot, click color, choose "Segments and Polyfills" to make it all one color OR choose "Segments Only" to change just the color of the lines.
