Introduction- Background information about American Revolution and the founding of the new government
Thesis- Should say what extent the Constitution lived up to its revolutionary ideals
Example- Enlightenment philosophers and the American colonists’ experience prior to the American Revolution had a profound effect on the ideals implemented in the Constitution
