Strategies of the Civil War...
- Keep the troops massed together.
- "Pincer movement" - Break strategy #1 and send a portion of the troops to attack a "flank" (side) of the enemy.
- This is usually followed by the bulk of the troops attacking the center of the enemy.
- "Double pincer movement" - Striking both flanks at the same time, then attacking the center.
- High ground - It's easier to hold the higher ground because gravity is on your side.
Rules of the game...
- The "generals" will position their troops.
- Each general takes turns. You can move any or all of your troops 1 square.
- To attack, enter your enemy's square. We'll roll dice to see which soldier wins. The loser is removed.
- While being attacked on high ground, the attacking the high ground must "win by 2".
- Fight until one army is dead or they surrender.
